<p><strong>Researcher</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Required qualifications:</span></p>

<li>At      least a master&#8217;s degree (S2) in Economics or Social Sciences</li>
<li>At      least two years experience in socioeconomic research</li>
<li>Familiarity      in quantitative and/or qualitative methods and tools for socioeconomic      research</li>
<li>Fluency      in both written and spoken English</li>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The successful candidate will be expected to (among other tasks):</span></p>

<p><strong>Program Administration Assistant</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Required qualifications:</span></p>
<ul>
<li>A      sound tertiary education, preferably within the social sciences or      communication.</li>
<li>Excellent      oral and written presentation skills in both Indonesian and English.      English proficiency must be near native speaker standard.</li>
<li>Experience      in the preparation and drafting of an organization’s internal and external      reports.</li>
<li>A      sound level of computer literacy, including advance mastery of: Microsoft      office Programs: Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.</li>
<li>Personal      qualities:
<ul>
<li>Capable       of working independently but also able to report to and consult with the       Institute’s senior staff when required;</li>
<li>A       good organizer and a person who pays scrupulous attention to detail, and       is capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure when       necessary;</li>
<li>A       good team player and able to work in an international environment; and</li>
<li>Good       interpersonal skills.</li>
</ul>

</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Expected responsibilities (among other tasks):</span></p>
<p>The assistant will report directly to the Institute’s coordinator of Finance and Program Administration but should consult and work closely with the External Affairs/Donor Liaison officer as well as the director and deputy director to perform the following duties:</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Preparing      and drafting all administrative reports (in English) of the Institute’s      activities according to an agreed timetable.</strong> This will involve collecting all      relevant information and supporting data required from all staff;      collating all supporting data, documents, and records required for      inclusion in these reports; ensuring the appropriateness, accuracy, and      coherence of all content; preparing report formats in accordance with the      specific requirements of each donor agency or the Institute’s standard      format; and ensuring that these documents appear on time and are      distributed to all relevant parties as required.</li>
<li><strong>Supporting      the administration of the Institute’s programs.</strong> Together with the coordinator,      the assistant will work on various program proposals, project documents,      as well as reporting requested by donor agencies. The assistant should      also be the focal person for arranging the Institute’s biannual Project      Consultation Committee meetings, which involves inviting officers from      donor agencies and relevant stakeholders, providing activity reports,      preparing minutes of meeting, and conducting other related activities.</li>
<li><strong>Supporting      the development of the Institute’s knowledge-based management.</strong> This includes: revising,      improving, and managing data and information regarding the Institute’s      activities, projects, and contacts.</li>
<li><strong>Supporting      the Institute’s promotional activities</strong> and assisting the management in      initiating and maintaining regular close relations with those officers who      are directly responsible for the Institute as well as ensuring that they      are kept informed of major research activities (planned, current, and      completed); reporting to donors on all efforts being made to inform      government officials and policymakers about important research findings;      and ensuring that the relevant officers from donor agencies receive copies      of all publications, including research reports, working papers, and      newsletters, as well as invitations to all the Institute’s workshops and      seminars.</li>
<li><strong>Supporting      all of the Institute’s outreach activities</strong> and other tasks as required by      the director, deputy director, and the coordinator.</li>
</ol>

<p><strong>English and Indonesian Editor/Translator</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Required qualifications:</span></p>
<ul>
<li>S1      degree or equivalent</li>
<li>At      least three years’ experience translating Indonesian documents into      English and editing English documents, preferably academic publications</li>
<li>At      least three years’ experience translating English documents into      Indonesian and editing Indonesian documents, preferably academic      publications</li>
<li>Excellent      English and Indonesian writing skills</li>
<li>Able      to build the capacity of SMERU researchers and staff in Indonesian and      English writing and editing</li>
<li>Strong      analytical skills</li>
<li>Strong      communication and teamwork skills</li>
<li>Appropriate      word processing computer skills</li>
<li>Able      to multitask and work under pressure</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Desirable:</span></p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Role:</span></p>
<p>The English and Indonesian editor/translator will play a major role in working to ensure the overall quality of the Institute’s publications and website and in particular ensure the accuracy of all Indonesian/English materials and address issues related to style and substance.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Major tasks and responsibilities include:</span></p>
<ul>
<li>Making      accurate Indonesian or English translations of newsletters, special      reports, research reports, field reports, working papers, policy briefs,      presentations, and other publications to ensure their quality and timely      production.</li>
<li>Editing      Indonesian/English versions of the Institute’s publications, including      newsletters, special reports, research reports, field reports, working      papers, policy briefs, presentations, and other publications to ensure      their quality and timely production.</li>
<li>Coordinating      with SMERU researchers and other SMERU staff during the preparation of      draft translations or edited materials to address questions related to      meaning as well as provide input concerning content. This will involve      working directly with research staff who are the authors of specific      documents.</li>
<li>Proofreading      and correcting all Indonesian/English materials with regard to style,      spelling, and syntax.</li>
<li>Providing      input on house style and design of publications.</li>
<li>Increasing      the writing capacity of researchers and staff through training and other      internal sessions.</li>
<li>Carrying      out any other tasks as directed by the director or his deputy. This may      include helping to edit key documents for the Institute.</li>
</ul>
<p>The English and Indonesian editor/translator will work under the supervision of and report to the Institute’s Publications and Information coordinator.</p>

<p><strong><span id="more-3572"></span>1. PROJECT OFFICER for Carbon Calculator Project</strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><br />

Background:</p>
<p>The Institute for Essential Services Reforms (IESR) aims at doing policy advocacy &amp; campaigning regarding access to energy, carbon justice and extractive Industries Transparency. IESR conducts own research to base its advocacy on and understands itself as a think-tank sharing innovative ideas with civil society and decision makers in government and the business world.</p>
<p>IESR has developed an online carbon calculator on its website. Visitors  get access to an online tool where they fill in the electronic devices they use at home and see straight away the carbon emissions arising from e.g. watching 2 hours television. The calculator also shows emissions related to transport, garbage or drinking of bottler water. The visitors get a tool at hand where they see how a change of lifestyle or a reduction of using electric devices leads to measurable carbon emission reductions.</p>
<p>The PROJECT OFFICER would be responsible for developing a more detailed carbon calculator who could also calculate emissions for whole houses or small and medium sized businesses. Much research is needed to generate reliable carbon emission data for the Indonesian context. (e.g. trains and busses in Indonesia have different emissions from public transport in western countries or electricity produced in Indonesia has different emissions from electricity generated in other countries)</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>LATAR BELAKANG</strong></p>
<p>Dalam membangkitkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai lingkungan, perlu dilakukan edukasi, penyuluhan dan motivasi kepada masyarakat agar tergerak untuk berperan aktif menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Kegiatan penyuluhan tersebut dilakukan melalui konsep Mobil Hijau yang berkeliling untuk berkomunikasi dengan masyarakat. Konsep ini dicetuskan oleh Ibu Negara Republik Indonesia, Hj. Ani Bambang Yudhoyono. Informasi yang disuluhkan antara lain mengenai pentingnya upaya pencegahan berlangsungnya pemanasan global dengan cara menanam dan memelihara pohon, mengenal budidaya bibit dan penyakit tanaman serta pengenalan program kebersihan lingungan kepada masyarakat. Dengan pemberian informasi melalui mobil hijau ini diharapkan akan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap dampak negatif perubahan iklim global dan masyarakat sadar untuk menangkalnya dengan menanam dan memelihara pohon serta mengaplikasikan perilaku ramah lingkungan di kehidupan sehari-hari.</p>
<p><strong>VISI</strong><strong> </strong></p>
<p>Membentuk keseimbangan ekosistem dan mencegah pemanasan global melalui peningkatan kepedulian lingkungan.</p>
<p><strong>MISI</strong></p>
<p>Dengan kepedulian lingkungan, anak-anak dan kelompok perempuan dapat berperan aktif serta mempengaruhi komunitas yang lebih luas.</p>
<p><strong>LOKASI KEGIATAN</strong><strong> </strong></p>
<p>Secara teknis, Mobil Hijau akan berkeliling ke lokasi-lokasi yang relatif padat penduduk dimana sebagian besar masyarakatnya yaitu dari kalangan ibu dan anak (setara SD  dan SMP).  Untuk tahun pertama, Mobil Hijau akan berkeliling di daerah Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (<strong>JABODETABEK</strong>), <strong>D.I Yogyakarta</strong>, <strong>Surabaya (Jawa Timur)</strong>, <strong>Kupang (NTT)</strong>, <strong>Mataram (NTB)</strong>, dan <strong>Makassar (Sulawesi Selatan)</strong>.</p>

<p><strong>PROGRAM MOBIL HIJAU</strong><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>1. </strong><strong>Ayo, Tanam dan Pelihara Tanaman!</strong></p>
<p>Program <strong>“Ayo Tanam dan Pelihara Tanaman!”</strong> bertujuan menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pohon dan tanaman hijau bagi kelangsungan hidup makhluk hidup. Program ini tidak hanya mengajak masyarakat untuk menanam pohon atau tanaman hijau di sekitar lingkungan mereka, namun juga memeliharanya sehingga dampak positif program ini dapat dirasakan di kemudian hari.</p>
<p><strong>2. </strong><strong>Ayo, Hidup Ramah Lingkungan!</strong></p>
<p>Beberapa materi penyuluhan dalam program <strong>“Ayo, Hidup Ramah Lingkungan!”</strong> yaitu tentang mengurangi penggunaan plastik dan kertas, menghemat air dan listrik, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan bermotor dan sebagainya. Program ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran dari diri masyarakat untuk mulai mengaplikasikan perilaku ramah lingkungan di kehidupan sehari-hari mereka.</p>
<p><strong>3. </strong><strong>Ayo, Kelola Sampah!</strong></p>
<p>Permasalahan sampah sudah menjadi masalah global di Indonesia saat ini. Program <strong>“Ayo, Kelola Sampah!”</strong> merupakan salah satu program yang akan mengenalkan sampah kepada masyarakat dan mengajak masyarakat untuk mempraktekkan prinsip 3R (<em>Reuse</em>, <em>Reduce</em>, <em>Recycle</em>) termasuk pemilahan sampah, daur ulang barang bekas atau mengganti penggunaan barang yang ramah lingkungan. Program ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi masyarakat untuk belajar mengelola sampah yang mereka hasilkan menjadi sesuatu yang lebih bernilai dan berpengaruh baik terhadap lingkungan.</p>
<p><strong>4. </strong><strong>Ayo, Buat Resapan Air!</strong></p>
<p>Dewasa ini,  pembangunan telah memberi dampak yang negatif terhadap lingkungan. Akibat dari pembangunan tersebut, maka areal lahan resapan air menjadi semakin sempit dan memberikan ketidakseimbangan penyerapan dan cadangan air. Hal ini menyebabkan turunnya permukaan air tanah dan ketersediaan air tanah. Melalui program <strong>“Ayo, Buat Resapan Air”</strong>, masyarakat akan diberikan pengetahuan mengenai kegunaan resapan air serta lubang biopori di lingkungan mereka. Pembuatan lubang biopori akan dipraktekkan secara langsung kepada masyarakat sehingga masyarakat dapat berperan langsung dalam pelestarian ketersediaan air tanah.</p>
<p><strong>5. </strong><strong>Ayo, Jernihkan Air!</strong></p>
<p>Air merupakan unsur yang paling utama bagi kelangsungan makhluk hidup di planet ini. Kualitas air haruslah diperhatikan, oleh karena itu air yang dikonsumsi haruslah kualitas air bersih. Program <strong>“Ayo, Jernihkan Air!”</strong> bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk memiliki pengetahuan bagaimana cara pengelolaan air yang dapat dikonsumsi dan digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga akan memberikan dampak baik dalam meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat.</p>

<p><strong>KEGIATAN</strong></p>

<li>Kunjungan rutin (Senin – Jumat)</li>
<li>Mendorong terbentuknya agen perubahan di setiap lokasi kunjungan</li>
<li>Memperkenalkan cara mengakses informasi dan materi lingkungan secara mandiri</li>
<li>Mendorong kompetisi antar lokasi dan memberi hadiah berupa dana insentif/pendorong aksi hijau.</li>

<p><strong>SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA </strong></p>
<p>Setiap Mobil Hijau akan dikelola oleh <strong>2 orang tutor/pelatih</strong> dan <strong>1 orang asisten tutor</strong>. Kemudian, untuk teknis pelaksanaan kegiatannya, Mobil Hijau akan dibantu oleh 1 orang tenaga lokal.</p>
<p>Tanggung jawab SDM tersebut antara lain:<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>1. </strong><strong>TUTOR/PELATIH </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan secara langsung ke masyarakat sesuai dengan program-program Mobil Hijau.</li>
<li>Membuat modul program bersama-sama dengan Tim Mobil Hijau</li>
<li>Menguasai materi yang diberikan terkait dengan program Mobil Hijau.</li>
<li>Mampu mengakrabkan diri dengan masyarakat, terutama dengan anak-anak dan ibu-ibu/wanita.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>2. </strong><strong>ASISTEN TUTOR</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Mendukung keperluan teknis pelaksanaan program Mobil Hijau.</li>
<li>Mampu mengakrabkan diri dengan masyarakat, terutama dengan anak-anak dan ibu-ibu/wanita.</li>
<li>Memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan secara langsung kepada masyarakat mengenai lingkungan.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>3. </strong><strong>TENAGA LOKAL</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Mengumpulkan masyarakat sekitar lokasi kunjungan Mobil Hijau.</li>
<li>Mentertibkan kegiatan program Mobil Hijau.</li>

<p><strong>CATATAN PENTING:</strong><strong> </strong></p>

<li><strong>Calon tutor/pelatih dan asisten tutor Mobil Hijau yang lolos seleksi, akan diberikan pelatihan selama 1 bulan sebelum terjun ke lapangan.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Untuk tutor dan asisten tutor yang telah aktif akan mendapatkan uang insentif setiap bulannya.</strong></li>

<p>Fauna &amp; Flora International Aceh Programme</p>
<p>Introduction</p>
<p>Fauna &amp; Flora International didirikan pada tahun 1903 merupakan organisasi internasional yang paling lama berkiprah di bidang pelestarian alam. FFI merupakan organisasi nirlaba berpusat di Inggris yang memberikan dukungan teknis, pendanaan secara langsung serta konsultasi bagi penggerak dan organisasi-organisasi konservassi di 40 negara di seluruh dunia. Misi FFI adalah: Melakukan usaha konservasi terhadap jenis satwa maupun tumbuhan dan ekosistem yang terancam punah, menemukan solusi berkesinambungan yang berbasis ilmu pengetahuan dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan manusia. FFI telah melaksanakan proyek-proyek di Indonesia sejak tahun 1996, dan hadir di Aceh sejak tahun 1998 melalui Program Sumatra Elephant Conservation Program (SECP). </p>
<p>Sejak Februari 2006, dengan bantuan dana Multi Donor Fund, FFI merelease Project Hutan dan Lingkungan Aceh (AFEP &#8211; Aceh Forest and Environment Project), dan fokus bekerja pada pelestarian Kawasan Hutan Ulu Masen dibagian utara Provinsi Aceh.</p>
<p>Deskripsi Pekerjaan -Information Coordinator</p>
<p>Tujuan </p>
<p># Posisi Information Coordinator lebih banyak fokus pada pengumpulan, identifikasi, dan analisis data, serta sebagai provider informasi untuk mendukung publikasi dan kampanye program FFI-Aceh kepada publik secara luas.</p>
<p># Membangun jaringan dengan organisasi strategis untuk mendukung pencapaian tujuan konservasi di Kawasan hutan Ulu Masen.</p>
<p>Lokasi </p>
<p>Banda Aceh dan melakukan traveling ke Kabupaten-kabupaten untuk melakukan riset data dan informasi.</p>
<p>Tugas dan Tanggungjawab </p>
<p>* Berpartisipasi secara aktif sebagai staff dari Fauna &amp; Flora International-Aceh Program terutama komponen komunikasi. </p>
<p>* Bertanggungjawab terhadap proses pengumpulan dan verifikasi data informasi dari seluruh komponen di internal FFI-Aceh program dari analisis hingga publikasi. </p>
<p>* Bertanggungjawab terhadap seluruh tahapan proses, product in-house media FFI-Aceh, Bulletin Ulu Masen per tiga bulan. </p>
<p>* Bertanggungjawab terhadap proses publikasi seluruh kegiatan komponen di FFI-Aceh baik di media lokal, nasional, dan international, dengan menggunakan media cetak, elektronik, dan media online dengan indikator kuantitatif.</p>
<p>* Mengelola (Update) Website FFI-Aceh (www.ffi.or.id) secara berkala.</p>
<p>* Bertanggungjawab dalam pembuatan position paper, paper brief, info sheet, fact sheet, dan press release sebagai product publikasi FFI-Aceh untuk publik.</p>
<p>* Membangun jejaring dengan media massa di Aceh maupun di luar Aceh.</p>
<p>* Membangun jejaring dengan organisasi strategis untuk mendukung kerja FFI-Aceh. </p>
<p>* Melakukan proses editing terhadap semua laporan yang akan dipublikasikan kepada publik. </p>
<p>Persyaratan Kemampuan/Keahlian</p>
<p>* Sarjana S1 dan sederajat </p>
<p>* Memiliki kemampuan teknik menulis, menggunakan komputer dan programnya termasuk microsoft world, excel dan powerpoint </p>
<p>* Memiliki pengalaman yang relevan dengan program pendidikan dan penyadartahuan lingkungan/konservasi. Dengan minimum 3 tahun pengalam pernah menduduki posisi sejenis. </p>
<p>* Lancar berbahasa Indonesia dan Inggris lisan dan tulisan serta dapat berbahasa atau mengerti bahasa Aceh </p>
<p>* Mempunyai kemampuan yang sangat bagus dalam berkomunikasi baik secara lisan ataupun tulisan, termasuk memfasilitasi pertemuan dengan masyarakat, dan mampu berbicara di depan umum. </p>
<p>* Mempunyai kemampuan dalam mengoperasionalkan hasil-hasil kebijakan rapat redaksi di in-house media.</p>
<p>* Mempunyai jaringan yang luas dengan media massa baik cetak, elektronik, dan online di level lokal, nasional, dan international.</p>
<p>* Mempunyai jaringan yang luas dengan kelompok organisasi masyarakat sipil, kelompok organisasi lingkungan, dan organisasi strategis lainnya.</p>

<p>Kementerian Negara Lingkungan Hidup selaku Focal Point Pemerintah Republik untuk Konvensi Basel tentang pengawasan perpindahan lintas batas limbah Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun serta pembuangannya, membutuhkan kandidat untuk menduduki posisi:</p>
<p>DIREKTUR BASEL CONVENTION REGIONAL CENTRE &#8211; SOUTH EAST ASIA (BCRC-SEA)</p>
<p>(Pusat Regional Konvensi Basel untuk Pelatihan dan Alih Teknologi bagi Asia Tenggara)</p>
<p>BCRC-SEA merupakan pusat regional yang bertugas memberikan pelayanan untuk pelaksanaan Konvensi Basel dalam penyelenggaraan pelatihan dan transfer teknologi kepada 10 (sepuluh) negara yaitu Brunai Darussalam, Kamboja, Indonesia, Laos, malaysia, Myanmar, Filipina, Singapura, Thailand dan Vietnam.</p>
<p>Kualifikasi:</p>
<p>* WNI</p>
<p>* Dapat bekerja full time.</p>
<p>* Menguasai penggunaan komputer termasuk program microsoft office.</p>
<p>* Fasih berbahasa inggris baik lisan maupun tulisan.</p>
<p>* Minimal S2 di bidang lingkungan atau bidang lain yang relevan.</p>
<p>* Mempunyai kemampuan konseptual, manajerial, interpersonal dan komunikasi yang baik, khususnya dalam penyelenggaran pelatihan dan transfer teknologi.</p>
<p>* Diutamakan mempunyai pengalaman kerjasama internasional.</p>
